Direct thermal printing: cost-efficient and simple
This printer uses the direct thermal method. This involves printing on a special, temperature-sensitive material. This becomes discolored due to the heat. Apart from special thermal paper, you do not need any additional consumables. This makes this printer easy to use and produces less waste. However, due to the temperature sensitivity of the medium, the printouts are less durable. Direct thermal printing is therefore particularly recommended for applications where the short shelf life is not a disadvantage and cost efficiency is the main priority - for example, receipts, luggage tags, shipping labels or tickets.
Integrated cutting unit
